Ok before I start, I wanna say everybody knows what it is…..so here’s the lowdown of who is in, what it’s gonna be and where it’s gonna be!
Before I begin, here’s the world reveal trailer if you have not seen it
Now, let’s get down to it! Guitar Hero Live, we all saw the trailer and it was awesome right? Why? Because it’s a reboot and NeverSoft (The guys who made the Guitar Hero franchise for years) aren’t making it…..remember? They were merged with Infinity Ward and made defunct in July last year.
So this year, the game reboots with FreeStyle Games, the guys who made DJ Hero, DJ Hero 2 and…..Sing Party….yup.
So what about them? They made two awesome DJ Hero games (If you are into DJs)
So they are making something much more out there, you see, this game is gonna be just like the trailer with a real crowd judging your every mistake but so far, Guitar Hero Live might just be that, a Guitar game unlike Rock Band 4 which is a Band based game.
So don’t expect to be rocking out with a group of friends like in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock
The guitar also changes from the 5 frets and sliders to 3 frets on 2 levels (Upper and Lower neck of the guitar,
totally to 6 frets)
Jamie Jackson, developer of the game, explained that this is to give new players a easier welcome and old players a nice challenge.
The Guitar Hero TV is the arcade/multiplayer mode of the game that will allow you to jam to the official music video of the songs in the game and with players having the ability to drop in and out of the song while being played (This also means online mode) and Guitar Hero Live being the normal concert stage version.
It’s unknown if the Guitar Hero Live mode will allow online gameplay (We assume yes)
There is also gonna be an app for the game that will allow the full game to be played if the devices supports the guitar controller to be plugged. This is only meant for devices that allow the full game to be played, none of that shorty app versions.
Now, who are the artist signed for this game you asked? We got a list and they are
The Black Keys, Blitz Kids, Ed Sheeran, Fall Out Boy, Gary Clark, Jr., Green Day, My Chemical Romance, The Killers, Pierce the Veil, Skrillex, The Rolling Stones, The Lumineers, and The War on Drugs
New songs will be introduced through the Guitar Hero TV mode but it’s unknown if they are paid DLCs or just released for the sake of….fun? Well, it is Activision we are talking about.
More details on the DLC issue will be released on E3 later this year.
Now! The final part, where will this glorious game be released?
The list is good and awesome and these are not including the app versions.
The game is currently console exclusive, that means NO pc version but that doesn’t mean every console out there, PS Vita and 3DS can’t take the live audience so……it’s coming out on……
PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and One and also on the Wii U!
Yup, that’s 3 more consoles than Rock Band, but Rock Band still has the power of a band so, that’s there.
